THE GOLDEN AGE OF CHILDHOOD
History does not remember only the adults who, in one way or another, shook the world, but also the fragile faces of childhood. Such is the case with Louise and Alexandre Brongniart, captured by Jean-Antoine Houdon, the sculptor of the Enlightenment, in a series of portraits that express with unexpectedly tender force the experience of childhood in the shadow of giants. In collaboration with the Plaster Cast Workshop of the Rmn – Grand Palais, Trudon has created a candle-replica that you can light whenever you long for a golden age.

RECOMMANDATION
Made using traditional methods, each bust is hand-crafted in small series at the Trudon Ateliers in Normandy. Depending on the series and the passage of time, the color of each bust may differ slightly, making each piece all the more unique. All details and finishes are done with great care, for each bust conveys and personifies History's greatness. All Trudon busts are adorned with a wick that pays tribute to the primary function of the candle. That said, the brand does not recommend burning the busts, as the wick is merely decorative and does not function as it would in a regular candle.
